I would like to take this opportunity to point out that – while I am drawing on my experiences when drawing Waiting On Tables – no manager has ever treated me like this.
While I been called “worthless to [me] as a human being” – yes, that’s a direct quote – no one has ever threatened to fire me in anything other than a joking way – at least I thought so.
It’s just part of the hospitality business.
Okay, that’s enough backstorying for now.
