Whenever I’ve had to wash other people’s dishes as part of work I try real hard not to think about the things they’ve done before dining. It’s… unnerving.
Thanks for your patience over the last week – it just goes to show that it takes a combination of moving house and heavy-duty cold medication to put me out of comic-making action.
To reward you, I have made what I think is perhaps some of the best ink work I have ever produced – and in a double-sized comic to boot! Yay for you!
Then again, I am highly biased on the issue of what is good in this comic. While there is always room for improvement, I try to look at each piece for a while and consider it from the point of view of someone who has never seen Waiting On Tables before.
Would they be interested in it? Is there a chuckle there for the uninitiated? Would a newcomer feel compelled to keep reading?
Okay, enough self-praise. Go and read an awesome comic that does this in every single strip – even the single-shot ones you want to read more!
DO IT NOW
That is all – see you next week!
